What an amazing experience we had in south of Argentina. Many thanks…Firstly, I managed to get the biggest fish among all of us in Rio Gallegos. As a beginner. And then to be part of all this beauty of Lago Strohbel /Jurassic Lake.
The guides were talking about this being the off-season ……… and that it has never ever been so bad in Rio Gallegos. What could happen when it is high season?
I took 30 of them on average about 5 kg approx. See some of them on images. On fly rod with one hand and no trolling or other ”cheating”.
Has now a recovery after the coolest fishing experience in my life.
The boys and the girls working on the camps were just fantastic. What a great service. Greetings and thanks everyone from me and my son Markus who is just as happy as I although he was forced to take earlier flight back…
