The temperature in the Lakshadweep archipelago is fairly constant throughout the year. The average maximum temperatures vary between 30°C and 32°C (85°-90° Farenheit) while the average minimum temperature vary between 23° and 26° C (73°-80° Farenheit)
The temperature of the sea water in the shallow waters varies between 27° and 30°C (80°-85° Farenheit). The sun is very intense and it’s paramount to be prepared for it. Long sleeve shirts and long pants are a must, as well as good sun protection, hats and even stalker masks. After a hot day out on the flats 25° can feel very chilly on the dinghi ride back to the mothership. A lightweight rainjacket comes handy and should be carried along.
